"Helen,
There really are no words to adequately express my gratitude to you for everything you bring to "Tideline." On a personal level, I found working with you to be inspiring. You raised the bar on the production through your talent, your presence and your absolute professionalism. I wanted to be a better director because of you. I admire you profoundly."

Helen BOOKED the Lead in TIDELINE!
Message from the Director:
"The role of "Nicole Young" has been cast! Suffice it to say she's talented and fits the role really well.
There were more than seven actors who auditioned for "Nicole." All of them had talent and enthusiasm. It wasn't easy narrowing it down and Micah and I are both grateful to those folks who took the time to submit for the role. In the end it comes down who is "Nicole Young?" She's a mother, a counselor, a combat veteran and so much more...but she is - above all else - a normal, flawed soul seeking redemption.
Aren't we all? -Rick"

!!!Rave Reviews!!!

“…the cast of this production is terrific across the board, providing the audience with a most delightful afternoon or evening’s entertainment.” -Alan J. Miller, Theatre is Easy

Sometimes you really can tell. And I will tell you that T. Schreiber’s production of George Bernard Shaw’s  You Never Can Tell is an utterly charming night at the theater. -Bess Rowen,Off-Off Online

“A charming, delightful and first-rate revival of Shaw’s seaside comedy, appropriate for the entire family.” -Alan J. Miller,Theatre is Easy

“T. Schreiber Studio concludes its 41st season with this production, and as ever the work is sparkling, clear, and nourishing. This is the perfect comedy to usher in the long-awaited summer here in NYC.”
-Martin Denton, nytheatre

“The banter is witty and the comedy is drawing room, but it is the actors’ charisma and timing that keeps one engaged.” -Bess Rowen, Off-Off Online

“In fact, if you don’t count the number of seats in the audience, you’ll be convinced that you’re attending a major off Broadway production. The sets and costumes are lush, worthy of a full blown commercial production, and the acting and directing are as good as it gets.” -Alan J. Miller,Theatre is Easy

“It’s a very funny play, and very smart…it’s thoroughly modern and no less pertinent than it was when it was written.” -Martin Denton, nytheatre

She is currently performing with EXIT STRATEGY improv in NYC!

For the past two years, doing two or more shows a month, she worked with Epione
(e' pie' oh' knee) and Tragic Improv.
They brought tragedy to the New York City's Improv Stages and to the stages of Toronto!
They were a dramatic improv troup that wasn't trying to be funny! Epione's cast: Helen Abell, Darnell Holguin, Alexa Kryzaniwsky, Thomas Poarch, Kelly Reeves, Cathy Simpson, Andrew Uhlenhopp, Brendan Wahlers, Chriss Williams, Jason Williams.

Their Improv bled over into the New York City Subways!
Their most popular and exciting shows were our Secret Subway Shows!
They spent a month developing a typical character you
might see on a subway car and then we invaded the trains!

Their goal being to create believable characters for our planted
audience and real characters for the unsuspecting riders!
